Ahmedabad, Gujarat — Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (HK), one of India’s leading diamond manufacturers, participated in the Hurun India Stars of Gujarat Awards 2025, held on 4 December at Le Meridien, Ahmedabad. The event brought together next-generation entrepreneurs and established business leaders to discuss Gujarat’s expanding role in global enterprise.

Leadership Dialogue at Hurun Gujarat Awards 2025

The Hurun India Stars of Gujarat Awards platform highlighted the growing role of next-generation leadership in building globally competitive businesses from Gujarat.

Second-generation entrepreneur Mr Brijeshbhai Dholakia represented HK in a fireside conversation with Mr Shreyansbhai Dholakia, Entrepreneur and Brand Custodian of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK). The session, moderated by Mr Adrish Ghosh, Managing Director, Barclays Private Clients, focused on the theme: “From Gujarat to the World: Building a Global Enterprise Rooted in Gujarat.”

During the discussion, leaders explored how Gujarat’s long-standing values of trust, long-term thinking, and relationship-driven business continue to influence global practices. “Gujarat’s business culture has always been guided by trust and long-term thinking,” said Mr Brijeshbhai Dholakia. “These values continue to anchor the organisation’s global expansion.”

Furthermore, the session highlighted the evolving responsibilities of next-generation leaders. In particular, it addressed the challenges of digital transformation, rising ethical sourcing expectations, and increasing international competition.

During the conversation, Mr. Brijeshbhai Dholakia outlined the organisation’s continued focus on traceability, fair practices, and sustainability. In addition, he emphasised HK’s solar-powered manufacturing facilities and its community development efforts through the philanthropic arm of HK Dholakia Foundation (DF).

Moreover, DF leads several environmental and social initiatives. These include Mission 102030, which aims to plant ten million trees and conserve one hundred billion litres of water by 2030. Additionally, other efforts focus on lake development, biodiversity restoration, and environmental education.

The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and family business leaders whose enterprises significantly contribute to Gujarat’s economic landscape. Meanwhile, the Hurun India platform continues to recognise organisations that demonstrate responsible growth, innovation, and positive community impact.
