convened next-generation entrepreneurs and established business leaders to discuss Gujarat’s expanding role in global enterprise.
Second-generation entrepreneur Brijesh Dholakia represented HK in a fireside conversation with Shreyans Dholakia, Entrepreneur and Brand Custodian of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK). The session, moderated by Adrish Ghosh, Managing Director, Barclays Private Clients, addressed the theme “From Gujarat to the World: Building a Global Enterprise Rooted in Gujarat.”
The discussion examined how Gujarat’s long-standing values of trust, long-term thinking, and relationship-based business continue to influence global business practices. “Gujarat’s business culture has always been guided by trust and long-term thinking,” said Brijesh Dholakia. “These values continue to anchor the organisation’s global expansion.”
The session also highlighted the evolving responsibilities of next-generation leaders navigating digital transformation, ethical sourcing expectations, and international competition.
During the conversation, Mr. Brijesh Dholakia outlined the organisation’s focus on traceability, fair practices, and sustainability, underscoring HK’s solar-powered manufacturing facilities and community development work through the Dholakia Foundation. The Foundation’s initiatives include Mission 102030, aimed at planting ten million trees and conserving one hundred billion liters of water by 2030, alongside lake development, biodiversity restoration, and environmental education.
