At Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., our natural diamonds are not only symbols of everlasting love but also symbols of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Imagine a room filled with diamonds shining brightly under the sun. Now imagine that their brilliance is powered by the sun itself. At Hari Krishna Exports, we manufacture natural diamonds using 100% renewable solar energy.

Traditional diamond mining and manufacturing are energy-intensive. Studies show that producing one carat of diamond requires between 96 to 150 kWh of energy. Globally, the industry consumes significant power resources.

However, Natural Diamonds Hari Krishna are crafted differently.

Our manufacturing units run entirely on renewable energy generated from in-house solar panels. These panels produce approximately 1,210,211 kWh annually. This amount can power around 40,340 households for a day. If generated through coal, it would require over 4,034 metric tons.

Started Using Solar Energy in HK Manufacturing in Surat

Since 2008, HK’s Surat manufacturing units have operated using solar energy across four solar plants. Founder and Chairman Shri Savjibhai Dholakia once envisioned, “Why not make diamonds that are as pleasing to the earth as they are to the eyes?” Today, that vision drives our renewable-powered operations.

Managing Director Shri Ghanshyambhai Dholakia reaffirmed our commitment: “We will continue to produce diamonds in the most sustainable way.” As a result, sustainability is now embedded in every stage of production.

Moreover, HK goes beyond renewable energy. We actively reduce our carbon footprint while aligning our efforts with global sustainability goals.

Through our philanthropic arm, the Dholakia Foundation, we lead large-scale environmental initiatives. Mission 102030 aims to plant 10 million trees by 2030. Mission 100X focuses on conserving 100 billion litres of water.

So far, we have planted over 2,800,844 trees and constructed more than 125 lakes across remote regions of India. These efforts have already conserved over 13 billion litres of water.

We believe glamour and sustainability can coexist. By institutionalising renewable energy and sustainability practices, we demonstrate that eco-friendly operations should become the global standard.

At HK, we live by three powerful principles: Traceable. Renewable. Responsible. Learn more about our commitment to diamond traceability.
