HK Headquarters’ 12th Anniversary: Celebrating Giving Back with a Life-Saving Blood Donation Drive

On February 13, 2025, Hari Krishna Exports (HK) marked its 12th anniversary at its headquarters, The Capital, located in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The company’s journey in Mumbai began in 1994 with its first office at Panchatantra. Over the years, HK expanded to Shreeji Chambers in 1997 and Prasad Chambers in 2003 to support its growing workforce. The opening of the headquarters office at BKC in 2013 marked a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and success.

To commemorate the 12-year anniversary at The Capital, HK chose a meaningful initiative. The celebration included a blood donation drive and an eye check-up camp held at Bharat Diamond Bourse, BKC. Rather than hosting a traditional celebration, the focus remained on giving back to society. The event was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Kiritbhai Bhansali, Mumbai BJP-Treasurer and Vice Chairman of GJEPC, who extended his support to the initiative.

A Legacy of Giving Back

At HK, success goes beyond business growth. The organisation strongly believes in contributing to the well-being of society. Over the years, blood donation drives have remained an integral part of HK’s corporate social responsibility efforts. Each unit of donated blood has the potential to save multiple lives. Through these consistent initiatives, total donations have now reached 19,983 bottles.

In addition, the eye check-up camp highlighted HK’s commitment to employee health and well-being. By providing free eye examinations, the company supported its employees in maintaining good health, both in the workplace and beyond.

Diamonds Beyond Business

While HK is widely recognised for its expertise in diamonds, the company believes its true strength lies in its people. The sense of community, responsibility, and care demonstrated by employees during initiatives such as the blood donation drive reflects the true spirit of HK. Creating a positive, supportive, and healthy work environment remains a key priority, which is why employees actively participate in such initiatives.

Continuing the Tradition of Giving

The recent blood donation drive collected 520 units, bringing the total contribution to 19,983 bottles over the years. Along with the success of the eye check-up camp, the initiative once again highlighted the impact that collective efforts can create. From HK’s founding in 1992 and its first Mumbai office in 1994 to becoming a leader in the diamond industry, giving back to society has always remained a core value.

Looking ahead, HK remains committed to continuing its tradition of corporate social responsibility. The organisation will keep strengthening its legacy of care, responsibility, and community support.
