Dhanji Dholakia inspired this mindset. Throughout his life, he donated a portion of his income to support those in need. As a result, his values shaped the foundation of Hari Krishna Exports.

From the very beginning, kindness guided our journey. Over time, CSR naturally became part of our management system and company culture.

Through the Hari Krishna Charitable Trust and the Dholakia Foundation, we organize structured programs that support communities at the grassroots level. Furthermore, these initiatives focus on long-term development rather than short-term relief.

Sustainable Diamond Business Under Hari Krishna Exports CSR

Through Hari Krishna Exports CSR initiatives, we actively support 8 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals introduced by the United Nations. In addition, we align our diamond manufacturing practices with these goals.

These goals include Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Clean Water and Sanitation, Gender Equality, Affordable and Clean Energy, Good Health and Well-being, Decent Work, and Life on Land.

Because of our consistent efforts, the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council recognized us as the Most Socially Responsible Company (2017–18).

Development of Hari Krishna Sarovar

One of our major projects under Hari Krishna Exports CSR is the development of Hari Krishna Sarovar in Gujarat. We transformed over 200 acres of land into a 20-foot-deep lake.

Today, this lake supports more than 80,000 people across nearby villages. Moreover, it improves groundwater levels and strengthens irrigation systems.

In addition, we built Amrut Sarovar on 17 acres in Dudhala village. Meanwhile, our team has constructed over 100 lakes across India, helping farmers and rural families.

Village Development and Renewable Energy

Another important initiative includes adopting Tinasmal village in Maharashtra. We installed solar power systems and improved water supply and healthcare access.

As a result, the village achieved energy independence. Families now generate electricity locally and enjoy better living standards.

Health, Education, and Community Welfare

Health and education remain central to Hari Krishna Exports CSR. For example, we conduct blood donation drives three times a year in Surat and Mumbai.

Since 2008, we have collected more than 15,000 units of blood. Additionally, we organize free health check-up camps in rural areas.

Education support also continues to grow. We provide books, school supplies, and financial assistance to underprivileged children. Likewise, we sponsor children diagnosed with Haemophilia so they can continue their studies.

Environment and Awareness Campaigns

Environmental protection is another key focus. Over the years, we planted more than 2.5 million trees in Gujarat to support sustainability.

Furthermore, we organize cleanliness drives and marathons to promote awareness. Thousands of participants join these campaigns annually.

Supporting Communities in Difficult Times

During the Kerala floods, we supported more than 750 families by providing essential supplies. In difficult times, quick action makes a real difference.

We also empower differently-abled individuals by offering wheelchairs and employment opportunities. Most importantly, we encourage dignity and independence.
