Empowering Employees and Greening the Future is at the heart of Hari Krishna Exports’ latest environmental initiative. Surat, India – On World Environment Day 2025, Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (HK), a global leader in natural diamonds and sustainability, announced a new employee tree-care incentive programme. This initiative strengthens their pledge to plant 10 million trees by 2030 under Mission102030, the flagship mission of the Dholakia Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hari Krishna Exports, in partnership with 1t.org and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

Employee Engagement in Environmental Initiatives

Employees will receive financial rewards for nurturing the trees they plant, encouraging long-term care, and fostering a sense of personal and environmental responsibility. This program extends Hari Krishna’s guiding principle: “What you nourish will flourish,” turning it into a nationwide movement across India.

Inspiration from Sikkim’s Tree Program

Community engagement in tree-care program led by Hari Krishna Exports

Savjibhai Dholakia was inspired by Sikkim’s Mero Rukh Mero Santati (“My Tree, My Child”) program, which plants 108 trees for every child born to symbolise a living bond between people and nature. This powerful symbolism fueled Hari Krishna’s new employee tree-care incentive program.
