Hari Krishna Group Celebrates a Decade of Love-binding: Unioned 521 Couples ‘till Date

Hari Krishna Group, a leader in the diamond industry, has reached another major milestone in its renowned social initiative: The Mass Marriage Festival. Over the past decade, the company has organised annual mass wedding ceremonies. This year, 55 more couples joined, bringing the total to 521 couples.

A Celebration Honoured by Distinguished Guests

This year’s Mass Marriage Festival reached new heights with the presence of Chief Guest Praful Pansheriya, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education. As the event marked over a decade of tradition, his presence added even greater significance to the celebration.

From heartfelt blessings for the newlyweds to warm conversations with families, Minister Pansheriya’s genuine enthusiasm made the celebration unforgettable. His involvement reflected a deep commitment to community values, which strongly aligns with the spirit of the Mass Marriage Festival.

How the Tradition Began

This culture began in 2013 after the Dholakia family noticed the many wedding invitations received from employees. As a result, they created an innovative idea  to host grand weddings that provide support and dignity to each couple.

Growing Impact Year After Year

Each year, the event has grown, touching more lives and creating lasting memories. “These weddings are not just about the ceremonies; they are a celebration of love, unity, and our commitment to our employees,” said Mr. Savji Dholakia, Founder of Hari Krishna Exports. He also shared, “It’s heartwarming to see so many couples begin their journey in the presence of their extended work family.”

This year’s celebration was record-breaking, with over 6,300+ people attending. Therefore, it became a truly communal and joyful occasion.

More Than a Ceremony

Beyond the rituals, these weddings have a deeper impact. They represent Hari Krishna Exports’ dedication to social responsibility and strengthen bonds within the community. Moreover, the initiative promotes equality and togetherness, going far beyond business objectives.

A Continuing Commitment

As Hari Krishna Exports continues this tradition, the company renews its promise to create a positive social impact. “Our journey of facilitating these mass weddings is a testament to our belief in giving back to the community. We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come,” added Mr. Dholakia.
