Hari Krishna Group Celebrates a Decade of Love-binding: Unioned 521 Couples ‘till Date

Hari Krishna Group, a leader in the diamond industry, has recently accomplished yet another significant milestone in their renowned social initiative: The Mass Marriage Festival. Over the past decade, the company has successfully organised annual mass wedding ceremonies, with 55 more couples joining this year, marking a total of 521 couples.

This year’s Mass Marriage festival reached new heights as it featured the participation of Chief Guest Praful Pansheriya, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Education. As the event exceeded a decade of cherished tradition, Minister Pansheriya’s esteemed presence added another level of significance.

From heartfelt blessings for newlyweds, to congratulatory conversations with families, Minister Pansheriya’s genuine excitement transformed the celebration into an unforgettable and joyous occasion. His involvement showcased a deep sense of commitment to spreading love and fostering community spirit, aligning seamlessly with the Mass Marriage festival’s values.

This culture began in 2013, inspired by the Dholakia family’s realisation of the numerous wedding invitations received from their employees. This sparked an innovative idea – to host grand weddings for employees, ensuring that each couple receives the support and celebration they deserve.

Each year, the event has grown, touching more lives and creating unforgettable memories. “These weddings are not just about the ceremonies; they are a celebration of love, unity, and our commitment to our employees,” said Mr. Savji Dholakia, Founder of Hari Krishna Exports. He also mentioned that “It’s heartwarming to see so many couples start their journey in the presence of their extended work family.” This year’s event was particularly record-breaking, with over 6300+ people participating in the celebration, making it a truly communal and joyous occasion.

Apart from the ceremonies, these weddings have a deeper impact as they represent Hari Krishna Exports’ dedication to social responsibility, reinforcing the bonds within the community. The initiative also highlights the company’s role in promoting equality and togetherness, transcending beyond mere business objectives.

As Hari Krishna Exports continues this tradition, the company renews its commitment to making a positive impact on society. “Our journey of facilitating these mass weddings is a testament to our belief in giving back to the community. We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come,” added Mr. Dholakia.
